The Sport Club Funding application is due by Monday, April 10 at 5pm. It must be submitted online via OrgSync and you must download, print, and submit a paper copy to the Sport Club Office in the Eppley Recreation Center. Here is a link to the application. You can also access it by logging into OrgSync and visiting the "Forms" tab on the SGA OrgSync page. Download the two files above to use as resources during this process.
Here are a few reminders:
Only Sport Clubs that attended a Budget Training Workshop on Tuesday, March 28 or Wednesday, March 29 are eligible to apply for SGA funds.
Your club's public OrgSync profile must be up to date with the most current President/Treasurer information. If your club has recently changed leadership, please ensure all changes are reflected on OrgSync PRIOR TO SUBMITTING your budget application. Any budget requests from a club with an outdated OrgSync profile will not be considered for funding, without exception.
In order to update your President and Treasurer information, you should go to your group's page, then select "Settings" on the right side of the screen. Select "Organization Settings," and in the center of the screen, click the green button that says "Update and Renew Profile." It should direct you to a form where you can view your organization's current information, click through, and make changes as needed. Once you're finished, be sure to click submit to send your changes. You should receive an email from SORC once your renewal has been received and approved.
If your group has more than one President and/or Treasurer, simply choose one individual who will be the official President or Treasurer for OrgSync purpose. Ensure that the President and/or listed on your OrgSync profile is the one who will submit budget applications on your club's behalf.
Always consult theManual on Financial Affairs & Discretionary Guidelines for Sport Clubs(linked at the top of the page) when completing your budget application. Like I said in the training, it is the best way to make sure that you won't make small mistakes that could result in denial of funding. The slides used in the training presentation are also linked at the top of the page.
Office Hours will take place in the Sport Club Office on Level 0 of the Eppley Recreation Center at the following times. Stop by to turn in a paper copy of your budget application or to ask questions and have your budget application looked at before you submit. Be sure to utilize this great opportunity! (You can also turn in your printed budget application to Kurt during any regular business hours).
